Don’t know how the raw video is inaccurate, but it is ridiculous she was arrested and shameful the school board deflected the point that she brought up (why is the superintendent getting a raise! We aren’t discussing a pay increase, we are discussing a new contract!)

How can you pay teachers an average of 47,000 and the superintendent 148,000.
This is why you need unions. Weaken them in supporting bad teachers. That’s what they have done in Ohio. If a school wants rid of a teacher. They are gone. BTW another snow day so no yip yip from the balcony about posting on school time.
I’ve made two promises to myself. One I will never post from a government owned computer. Also I will only use my data also.
I am concerned and I do think criticism I receive about those issues are valid. I’m sensitive to it and I am addressing it.

I for one understand that today's work environment allows, provides, and even encourages personal computer usage.
You'll get no guff from me by using a school computer to post.

It’s a wise practice anyways.
Thou shouldn’t be posting personal political opinions from a government computer. That’s why I post from my iPad and IPhone.
The copy and pasting is a *****. The quote function pain in the ass, but I honestly think people’s criticism of me posting has merit. I’ve made adjustments that I can personally look at myself in the mirror with.

They, teachers, need to strike. It's the only leverage they have. I honestly don't know why they don't use it. Could you imagine a nationwide teachers strike? Boy, I bet things would get done then.

I agree. The worst that could happen is a couple days lost of leftist SJW indoctrination.

We’re you being sarcastic? I’m curious. I have thought about this. In the areas where they have taken away bargaining rights I have always wondered why they don’t do that. It would have to be stat wide or county wide. Give them two weeks notice or have a mass sick day? I’m not feeling good. Stressed out over losing my bargaining rights. **** would get done. The other thing that we did as a school district. We just worked our contract. Every teacher HAS to do it. You all walk in together at 7:15 and leave at 3. No brief case. No pens or paper better bein your hands fro or too. All of your job is done in your contracted day. There are MILLIONS of things that teachers do outside of their contracted day that gum up the works of a good school. If you are in one, parents are right quick to understand what you do and they simply won’t tolerate it. We had a superintendent and treasurer convince some board members to play it rough on us in negotiations. We didn’t agree. We worked the contract and by week2 they were capitulating. They wanted to cut our insurance and freeze our salaries. We didn’t want our insurance cut Yada yada.
Two weeks later we got a proposal we could live with. Now maybe in crappy schools you have teachers that only work the contract. In ours you work hard and go the extra mile. I tell you I scoff at the idea you can’t get rid of a teacher. We get rid 10% of our new hires. If you are not effective you don’t last.

No, but they should follow the rules of order of a meeting and have a sense of common decency when they are speaking.
So, I saw a video of this, and she said her thing very civilly, left and then was arrested in the hallway outside of the meeting room. I don't know if anything were cut out, and it's entirely possible that she was causing a disruption that was not shown in the video... but from what I've seen the arrest was completely unnecessary.

Here is a longer video that changes my opinion from what it was when I had just seen the shorter one. She was out of line and had it coming.

I’m actually going to backtrack on this.
I was convinced she was out of line and after seeing that I don’t believe she was.

IDK, I don't see anything here which makes me think the arrest was called for, at all.
Up to about 2:30 she is fine. And I agree with her, if you are a leader it's your job to set up the people below you for success. A good leader eats last, as my wife says to the kids as we serve them dinner. The second time she spoke she was out of order but "reasonablly so" and when the deptuty said he would remover her, then she left.

An apology?????
She’s owed more than that. Disgraceful. And also the fact that some of these board members weren’t even voted on by the people? Are you kidding me? Terrible.
