It was a very sloppy first half by both green teams. Marshall is really missing Penava who got hurt against WKU. We have played through our bench, but need to adjust to the Charlotte defence. We are weak on the inside without Penava, but have forced turnovers well and kept their bigs at Bay.

Sad but honest fact...Sadler is in year 4 at USM. He has won back to back games only 4 times and never won more than 3 in a row. Of the 4 back to back wins in his 4 years 3 of those were at home against UTSA and UTEP. The only other time was South Alabama and one of the Dakotas or Dakota States.

Marshall played much better in the second half and the game was never in doubt with a 10 point or more lead throughout the half. This was without Marshall's best player who I hope will be back for ODU. If so, it should be a good game. This team finds ways to push the ball and win when we are down players and others are having off-nights. It is just fun to watch.

Bracy can't even really move very well at all again tonight for us - surprised game is so close at half with all our FR playing so many minutes

FIU wins 79 - 76, they almost choked the game away as per usual but managed to hang on. Go Panthers!

Too much - he is still the quickest player on the floor but you tell he is really hurting and should probably be sitting on the bench since we probably won't win tonight anyway

Too many TO's and not shooting very well from 3 - we have lost to teams worse than us this season when doing the same stuff

Rule #2: if you’re gonna take em 3 at a time, at least take em in order.

And speaking of FAU they’ve rallied and are now trading leads with UTEP early in 2nd (14:xx left)
