I REALLY don't think that's the takeaway here. As I see it, four possible outcomes, if we make it back to Frisco in the future:
1. Streamers remain banned. JMU fans still sneak SOME in, but don't throw them on the field or at the opposing team/fans. No issues.
2. Streamers remain banned. JMU fans throw MORE streamers on the field or at the opposing team/fans, leading to fan ejections or penalties against JMU.
3. Streamers are again allowed. JMU fans don't throw them on the field or at the opposing team/fans. No issue.
4. Streamers are again allowed. JMU fans go crazy and throw them on the field and at the opposing team/fans. Streamers subsequently banned again.
Of those possibilities - I'm betting 1 is most likely, and I'd be disappointed by 2. I'd also think keeping streamers away from the opposing team's bench at Bridgeforth can only help the chances of streamers again being allowed in Frisco.
Obviously JMU loves streamers, but we should be good sports and respect opponents and hosts who do not.

So... your ONLY joy attending the game is throwing a streamer? You get NO joy from watching a game? Of all the NCAA policies and practices to complain about, this one is very low in my book.
