I find it really amusing on Twitter, that the fans of Alabama like to call our National Championship a 'participation trophy'. This is the fan base of a team that lost the SEC West, but still got to participate in the CFP.
They'll also tell you that they don't want to see the playoffs expanded to 8, because it would ruin the regular season, where every game matters.
