QB change looking like a solid decision, kid is clearly a better passer than Hurts which given Mayfield's success against the Georgia D was a smart move by the Bama coaches to give it a try.

It is like watching a Big 12 basketball game involving Kansas.

It was a desperation move that paid off for a drive. But he looks like a loose cannon to me and turnovers could be coming.

This is just nonsensical. Georgia playing in Atlanta is as money as it gets. The bad calls went against UGA but pure coincidence.

Certainly a very close one, since it was called a TD on the field not sure if it was really all that definitive one way or the other.

OUs defense isn't great but makes me respect once again how good OUs offense was this year after watching Georgia's D in the 1st half.

And UCF definitely would have done better on offense then Bama has done.

Yes the best two teams played in Pasadena and no, UCF would not have done better. Auburn's D held them well enough to have won the game. Stidham threw a pick six inside our 30 and fumbled the ball to set up another 7 on our end and ended the game with another pic inside the UCF red zone.

And that was without our starting corner All American. UCF was a good team and deserved the win, but their defense is porous, was all season, and only an inept Auburn offensive effort complete with the turnovers provided the margin of the win.

Our D was good, would have been better with all of our starters. But Georgia offensively and defensively is on a whole other level than UCF.

And this game isn't over yet either. Alabama D is very good. The first half was a testimony to Georgia's offensive capability and the adaptability of Fromm.

I do believe OU had the best offense I've seen in years. If their defense had been just a little bit better they might have won it all. Georgia's offense is pretty special too, but not quite as efficient as Oklahoma's was. The lesson of Pasadena was still that you can't win a title without solid defense.

So, where is Jalen Hurts transferring?

EDIT: There’s the TO.

And there's the pick. This is why Saban stuck with Hurts so long this season.

Rolling out a freshman QB out of the pocket instead of having him stay in the pocket and go through his progressions may have just cost Bama this game.
