Georgia State is 0-3 all-time in Boone. Hunter will have to use some serious mojo to win on Thursday.

Great chance to go to 5-1 this week for App. Would be more overall and conference wins than last season.

My goal for GS on all of these Thur/Sat road trips is to at least come back 1-1. So far road wins in conference games have been rare. If I counted right home teams are 18-6 so far in conference games

Will be interesting to see how we respond Thursday with the full team back together for the first time since Balado's rant.

I'm hesitant to get excited about App. Likely follow a milestone road win at ULM with a clunker home loss by a lot to GSU. Then surprise with a win against GaSo.

Dats true. 11-1 in week 2.

Remember that because of the scheduling gods, this is the only time App and Coastal play Georgia Southern and State this season.

The Scheduling gods have also dictated that you will only play them once next season as well.

Both of this weeks non geographic rival matchups are schools that will only see each other once. Texas School and Arkansas meet only once this year after meeting once last year.

This is a big 10-day stretch for GS, especially if Sun Belt games are going to continue to lean so hard towards home teams. The Eagles started on the road two weeks ago and visit CCU and App before a single game at GaSt next Saturday. If they manage a 2-1 mark in that span, they’ll Be 5-2 with 7 of their final 11 games at Hanner. And now that the students will be there for each game, road teams winning in Hanner will be few and far between.

Another one of those fun games for AState in which we'll be playing as a Winter Storm rapidly approaches. Given the general fear and panic that breaks out in the region anytime the word Winter and Storm are used together in a sentence, I expect about 75 people at tonight's game.

Storm is not due to hit till a couple hours after the game, but everyone will freak out anyway.

I mean, they are saying light accumulation and all the milk and bread has disappeared from area grocery stores.
