Conference play
We need to be 7-7 in conference play in order to have a winning season. So we need to win the other 3 against chi-st and umkc. Then take 3 out of 10 from everyone else. Small steps.
The game against umkc was really ugly. The bright side is we should have won by 20-25 if we played like we did against corpus or Uci.

CSUB looked pretty vulnerable last night at the beat down in Orem. I’d say splitting with them isn’t unheard of. I watched some of the game you guys played against UMKC; when the Roos were trying to come back, UTRGV kept pulling back away. It was a solid win for you guys.

A winning season is definitely possible for the V's. You may have chances of getting an upset win against SU, UVU, or GCU if they overlook the V's while preparing for NMSU. A win (or two) against CSUB is also possible since they seem to be having a down year.

RE: Conference play
GCU has always had issues at UTRGV but for UTRGV they would need to play a very good game to get a W vs NMSU UVU and GCU I think. Cant have UMKC type play and not lose by less than 20. I do however like what Hill is doing at UTRGV.

CSUB on twitter has been counting down the days till they play Nmsu on saturday. So has their AD. Perfect opportunity to spoil the fun first. Then the aggies can come in and clean up the mess.

Huuuuuge win. They were missing 2 key players but, whatever i'll take it.
Terry Winn has been looking better and better every game.
