Evans draft article
https://www.cincinnati.com/story/sports/...004834001/

It's more or less just mentioning where he stands on different draft boards, but it would be pretty cool if he went back end of the first round.
The frustrating part about this, is there's just no real transparency/way to know. I imagine there are a few teams that can use a 3 & D guy who can actually do both.

RE: Evans draft article
Been really impressed with his defense this year and the time he's spent at point will make him more versatile at the next level. Not that he'd be a point but a 2 guard that can bring the ball up occasionally. He's obviously got ideal size for an NBA 2 guard. I just hope if he continues on a pace that allows him to turn pro early that it comes with team success.

Can't see it being in Evans best interest to go pro early. I think you have to know you're getting gar. contract. I think the plan for his development with Cronin is still a year away. The more he brings the ball up, the better he'll be as a prospect. I think he has such a chance to improve next year, that he should wait; him leaving early would be a mistake along the lines of Dontonio IMO.

The good thing for him is he's young for a junior so he wouldn't have to worry about age being an issue. SKs age really hurt him coming out. That said if he is a first round pick he should go.

if he keeps up his current rate of production he'll be on ppls radar but if he leads a Cincy run in the tourney, he should go. Edit: i just don't see how much better he can get stat wise.

Evans draft article
I still don't see him more than a 2nd rounder this year. Anymore it seems 1/3rd if draft is freshman, 1/2 foreign and then like 15 spots for upper class men. He has upped his stock of late though as early mocks barely had him in 2nd round if at all. Being young helps, so I really hope we get 1 more year

I have to be honest i'm becoming more impressed with his work handling the ball at the point. Still think he should shoot more, not unlike Clark, but he clearly is gaining more confidence in a pg role.
