Everyone in FBS deserves access to the championship in a true playoff. But on the other hand, pesik is spot on. If they openly admit that they can't compete, then they don't really need to be FBS at all.

Their is definitely a difference in athleticism between upper P5 and G5. The AAC athletes are definitely G5 talent, on par with the rest of the G5 and some much below.

Compete might not be the correct verbiage, all within the last couple years:
Tech 42-3 Over SMU
Tech beat the ranked AAC runner-up last year
WKU over Memphis
WKU over USF
Marshall over UConn
and their is more.. a lot more from other conferences. As you can see the bowl teams from the other G5 are better at least on the field than the bowl teams from the AAC

You have completely missed the point. The AAC schools are pumping money and resources into athletics and academics to raise the entire profile of the league. The rest of the G4 is wallowing in self pity and crying that they can't keep up.

If UCF can get another NYD bowl win they will be tied with BSU for most out of the G5.

That’s a fact as stated. IMHO Boise St. Has earned the right to be included in the P-6 conversation.

Yeah, including Boise in the same sentence with G4 is ridiculous. They should be here. So should BYU, Air Force, and Army. That puts an nice big bow on it.

I agree. The addition of Boise and either Byu or Sdsu would basically be the end of the g5 as we know it today and really solidify our p6 status. Maybe the AAC isn't the problem, maybe the problem is that the p5 doesn't want to bring along the rest of the the g4 teams that they deem as useless. Our conferences job is to secure a large enough contract to pull 2 of Byu, Boise or Sdsu and move on. That may lead to the break off that everyone see is coming 04-cheers
