I get a kick on how Dunleavy claims he fumbled the water bottle. Replay shows he clearly took a swing at it and knocked it to mid court. Still...amazingly stupid.

Dunleavy will retire at Tulane. 63-year-olds aren't usually out looking for their next job. He will coach there for another 5-7 years and rebuild the program, then hopefully hand it off to the right successor.

LOL. I don’t know how that happened. Whether I typed it or it was spell checked.

Auto-correct was my first guess too, most def. The -phy and -leavy are really similar like that.

Kind of the opposite of UNI fans who probably still think they are an at large team even after starting 0-3 in the valley with losses to SIU, Bradley and Missouri St. (They ALWAYS think they are an at large team....no matter what)

Sorry SMU fans, this is gonna be a bad loss come tourney time.

Disagree.. if Tulane can squeak into to the Top 75 RPI that becomes a Tier 1 game for SMU with the new brackets. A win would have been better than a loss, but I don't think it will be a bad loss.

I think 1313 was referring to the UNI loss.

I second this notion. I’ve never travelled to Cincinnati for a game, but the fans I’ve met in Philly have all been cool. The fans reaction on boards is always good too; not mocking when victorious or petty when defeated. Don’t get me wrong, I love beating the Bearcats, but zero hatred.

Also agreeing. Zero hate and total respect for Cincy and their fans. Love it when we win, painful when we lose. Last night was very painful. Temple needed a win to stay alive in the conference hunt.

Yeah I don't think the Tulane loss will be a bad loss. I think the UNI one will be the one that hurts more.

Sorry I re-read what I wrote and I wasn't real clear.

I think the mutual respect comes from a couple of factors. The games in the AAC are competitive. Temple has punched us in the nose when we should have won. You have to respect that. Older fans will remember the contests in the 90s. Again, Temple knocked us out of the Ncaa tournament and put a dent in our 99 season.
