Yes they are. What do you think the CFP sells to ESPN for close to half a billion a year?

That said, I think not being on New Years Eve probably helped improve the ratings across the board this year.

Yes, because despite the good ratings for the Peach Bowl, it was actually beaten by the Citrus Bowl played at essentially the same time.

Ratings were up for everything, basically.

You are truly such a sad, petty butthurt person. I'm honestly shocked you're still here given how much unjustified smack you ran this year, only to watch it blow up in your face.

Yes, the Peach was narrowly edged out by Notre Dame and LSU. Notre Freaking Dame, who arguably has the largest national following of any team.

Convenient you left out the fact that the Peach totally smoked the match up between USC and Michigan.

"Every game being up" doesn't even begin to explain the 55% Year to Year jump the game had.

Not everyone has ESPN available to them while everyone has ABC available to them, even if it's over the air via digital antenna. Large probability of viewers based on that alone.

Your name-calling doesn't change the fact that the Peach Bowl wasn't even the highest-rated game in its time slot, it was beaten by the Citrus Bowl. Beyond that, i was just agreeing with Attackcoog, who noted ratings were probably up across the board because the game was on NY's Day, not NY's Eve this year.

What was the USF/TTU overnight rating? 03-lmfao

Tell me- does it anger you knowing that despite UCF/USF being in Orlando, with mostly UCF fans filling out the 46,000 in attendance, the Orlando TV market still beat out Tampa in ratings by a full 1 point?

You need to dial your sig down about 50%. It won't fit on a computer screen. I don't begrudge your celebration thought! Great season!

Awwww poor quohood is having a rough year

Yes an ota brodcast of LSU and Notre Dame pulled in a 5.4
A cable broadcast of UCF and Auburn got 5.1

But LSU /ND was available to 119,000,000 and got 6,600,000 for 5.5% of it's available audience

UCF/Auburn was available in 87,000,000 and got 6,100,000
for 7% of it's available audience.

Had the peach been on abc with the same percentage of viewership it would have had 8,300,000 total viewers.

I love when smart people use numbers and facts to smack around little trolls.

My guess is that quo totally disappears from this thread now.

I am so proud of what UCF accomplished this season. You deserve National Champions recognition. Your success is certainly good for the conference as a whole. I can’t wait for the rematch in Memphis next year. I think the conference will be stronger across the board, making for the best possible scenario headed into tv negotiations. Cheers!!

Give the American a good TV spot and the ratings will be there. It makes way too much sense for NBC to offer an over the air spot every Saturday for the conference's top game. ESPN's family of networks for the Thursday and Friday nights while the rest is divided up by ESPNU, ESPNews, CBSSN, NBCSN, ESPN (Fox) Regionals, and ESPN3. Top dollar for the conferences best two or three games each week.

I won't take NBC for fools... They saw something in this league all while other networks didn't including ESPN.

AAC has equity now... NBC should jump at this opportunity.

NBC doesn't need to break the bank simply base negotiations on ratings and markets this league offers and offer the AAC respectful.

Hunch tells ESPN will still match anything NBC presents though.

if nbc came with an over the air offer for a game of the week (before or after ND of course) coupled with their NBCSN and their other properties i would hope we jump at it because over the air coverage trumps ESPN talking nice about you once in a while.
