Delaware-CAA Game 3
Given the weather forecast for Williamsburg, I wonder when the team will leave for Newark.

We will be at the game. Let’s get another road win.

A few years ago the Delaware-Drexel games swing resulted in some 24 hours plus on buses fighting a snowstorm. Let's hope the guys don't get trapped in one of these again.

Easy SEPTA train ride from Newark to Philly. Both stations are adjacent to respective campuses.

RE: Delaware-CAA Game 3
A win Friday and a win Sunday and we have something going. ODU, Mason, Hofstra, and JMU- all games the Tribe could have lost, but they continued to battle and came out on top. As Coach Shaver said in the postgame last night, the first of 2 3 game conference road trips. On the positive side of that, we will only have a trip to Charleston and the traditional northern trip following those.

This is a great chance for this team. As tough as the road is, they get a few more games to continue to work and improve before facing Towson or Charleston. Delaware won at UNCW and played Charleston even well into the second half. So, this will be another tough road test. Then, we might face Drexel with their returning top scorer. Neither place has been a really good venue for the Tribe, but this team is about conquering things together. Need to win to keep the momentum going on this ride.

We've already won as many road games as we did last year

Almost. We beat ODU, Hofstra, Charleston, and Delaware on the road last year. We also had the neutral court Elon win in the tournament.

We did not beat Charleston on the road last year.

My mistake, we beat Charleston in the Gold Rush game, which shows up when you filter by "Away" in the schedule on TribeAthletics.com. Three road wins seemed like it was too few, but we really were that good at home.

Delaware-CAA Game 3
"Gamer" program predicts we will lose 88-81.

Same system also predicts Towson (12 seed) will be the lone CAA team in the NCAAT and will play Syracuse.

I heard yesterday that the team did not come back to Williamsburg after JMU, but went on to Newark to beat the snowstorm. That storm, by the way, is currently hitting us in the Burg very hard; about 5-6"
of snow, still coming down, with wind gusts up to 35-40 mph.

They were smart not to come back.

That's good. I hope the broadcast team got an early start out of the 'burg, as they were not on the team bus, from JMU, but had their own car.

Delaware is a tough match up for us. Someone needs to play defense on Daly. Maybe Tot gets some additional minutes. Maybe Pierce

If only we knew a guy who could fill in in the event the current crew can't make it. But who?

These snow facts make me more worried about whether the women's basketball home game against Drexel will be played on schedule Friday night. Even if the Hall is ready, do we know if Drexel made it into town?

I've repeatedly gotten a "max user connections" error message trying to access the GoHens.net site, since yesterday. Just me, or anybody else having the same issue?
