Since the NFL playoffs are set to begin in a few days, I thought it was only appropriate to see if there are any NFL fans in this conference.

Roll call! I know who you root for on Saturdays... but what is your NFL team? Who are you rooting for on Sundays?? Also - why are they your team?

I moved to NC in 1990 when I was 6 years old. I didn't watch football and didn't have an NFL team to root for. Then, when the Panthers showed up in '95, I felt a real connection to my new home, and to our new team. Been hooked ever since!

I think we are going to have a heck of a tough time winning the Wild Card game in New Orleans. The Saints are damn good, and they've already beaten us twice this year. We are limping into the playoffs after a pitiful performance in Atlanta. But you never know... Cam can take a game over at any moment! ..and Defense wins championships - and Carolina definitely has a great one.

After the Oilers moved to Tennessee I stopped caring about the NFL and solely focused on college football

New England Patriots! I was raised in Connecticut and My Dad always had the pats games on when i was little so i thats where the interest started.

Grew up a die hard Skins fan and to some degree I still am but not nearly like I used to be. Like the OP, when the Panthers came on the scene in '95 they became my primary team and have been since. I've been to a lot of their games and love everything about that team and organization. It's like a big family really. Jerry Richardson is a real class individual.

Not a fan of the NFL--- likely do the how the Bengals are run and operated since Mike Brown took ownership in 1991.

But I was visiting Tulane as a high school senior when they won in 2010. Mardi Gras Super Bowl. You can't get more epic-er.

And on the opposite end of the spectrum, when the Oilers moved in 1997, I became a fan almost instantly. I was 18 that year, and I'm still with the Titans twenty years later. My two sons have been Titans fans since they could walk and talk. There have been a lot more downs than ups, but we've been with them through thick and thin. Sunday was an incredible day for us, watching our guys end the nine year playoff drought.

Back in the 60's and 70's before the NFL was on five nights a week and all day those days, Memphis was pretty much fed the Dallas Cowboys and St Louis Cardinals on a regular basis resulting in generations of Cowboys fans. Memphis is far and away a Cowboys market today even though the Titans are 200 miles up I-40. Not sure I've ever seen a Titans fan in Memphis. As for me, I loved the Cardinals. I had one of those old posters you used to buy from Sports Illustrated of Larry Wilson on my wall and love the nostalgia of this twitter account:

I've been a Kansas City Chiefs fan since I was itty bitty. Unfortunately they have conditioned me (and most of the fanbase) to expect failure in the playoffs. I won't be surprised at all if they crap the bed against the Titans on Saturday.

I was a huge Oilers fan. When they moved I adopted the Broncos as my team and am now a Texans fan, but don't care even a tenth of what I did for the Oilers.

Falcons. Lived there from 1981 to 2014.

Eagles, since I moved to the Philly area in, uh, when I was seven. Bled green ever since but yeah it ain’t easy. Bye week is nice but then we looking at either Saints, Falcons or Panthers with our backup QB.
