ULL might be the best team in the league. No doubt they are clearly better than us, but they might be better than just about everyone else in the league. If that's the case, we may still end up being competitive with the rest of Belt. ULM is likely not very good, so I don't want to get too optimistic after one league win. But, we already have one more win than Pappy thought we might get after seeing us get drubbed by ULL. Pippen and Reedus look like they will help us. DeAndre would as well, but a medical redshirt is looking likely unless he comes back very soon.

It is looking like a weird year, for sure.

Amazingly enough, we are tied for fourth place right now.

I really didn't expect to beat ULL, even at home. Obviously, we are not one of the top teams in the league. ULL is. Where other teams fall in the hierarchy, including us, I don't have a clue. I believed UTA was the class of the league with GaSou close behind but who knows at this point. I am hopeful we can be middle of the pack, rather than at or near the bottom, like many of us feared.

If you take our five best players, we look reasonably competitive now that Reedus is starting to take hold and Pippins is eligible. But past that we are not very strong. With Wadly being such a disappointment, we need someone who can come in and spell Oliver.
