RE: Monroe game thread
Get the ball to Ben Marcus. The kid just doesn't miss many shots.

RE: Monroe game thread
But Ben's main problem is that he can't stay in games due to fouls.

Pippins is a ball player. He may not look like the stereotypical guard but he’s a winner. He’s made a difference.

That he does not. But, as you say, who cares?

LOOKING AT THE STATS
If Oliver had made the last FT he would have had a double/double.

One of Andre's better games. We need him to play like that all the time.

Anthony is turning into one of our best shooters.

Pippins is turning into The Man.

We saw the player Reedus can be. Now he needs to do it every time. 13 points, 6 boards

Bankston 7 rebounds in only 18 minutes. That is exactly what we need him to be doing. Come in and give us some blue collar muscle inside.

We still can't shoot the 3 (7 of 28), and over half our attempts were from the arc. Ordinarily that is a recipe for disaster. Thankfully, we hit 16 of 23 inside the arc, and that was the difference for us.

We won the boards 35 to 28, mainly thanks to Reedus, Oliver and Bankston.

Pippins was 8 of 8 from the line to salt away the win.

Marcus was 5 of 5 from the field. He is now 44 out of 56 for the season (78.6%). The kid is amazing.

RE: Monroe game thread
We only played 10 players. That is down from most past games. It paid off.
