My bad, went back through the thread and it was actually a single poster that called the game tough in about 6 different posts. Ironically it wasn't even Giles, who used the term "tough" about 6 times in this thread, lol.

I agree, from what I've seen. Green also was everything you said he was. I also said it wouldn't matter this year because JJ wouldn't let either of them be a factor. I guess we were both right. I guess the good news is they will be tough in a couple years. BTW, I also said Godwin would not be able to contribute this year. Maybe we should start an ODU Basketball Podcast. We could add Giles in to contradict everything we say and we would basically have an ESPN show.

Giles needs a show. He'll argue anything. I could say Michael Jordan was a great basketball player and he'd dig up some obscure stat that proves he actually sucked and Tony Kukoc was the greatest player to wear the Bulls uniform.

It doesn’t matter that they are having a down year. A win against Charlotte will always be worth more to me than a win against NTX. Just like a win against VCU will always be meaningful regardless if they’re having a down year. And, no, I’m not comparing VCU to Charlotte. But Charlotte is a respected, proud basketball program. Can’t say the same for NTX.
