Yep, in 10 years we will all be talking about the time we only lost by 9 to a mediocre team. The Tub will be in the HoF and his son will be video coordinator at Bryant University.

Moral victory demarcation depends on the relative strength of the opponent. A nine pont loss to Louisville (blown out by KY) is considered a moral victory and sign of progress by some fans. Cincy is ranked and is rated better than UL. Therefore, a loss by only 15 points to Cincy should qualify as progress and a moral victory by those buying into that sort of thing.
