I enjoy Maddawgz and I hope he comes back soon as well. I dont always agree with him but he is a passionate fan and we need more of them.

From my understanding, he’d frequently attend road games. True diehard.

Dumb. Let him post. We need as many passionate fans as possible. If he was anti-carey then he must be logical!

He wasn’t “passionate,” he was insane.

RE: MBB Iowa
Monty in his after game presser said that the team was not ready to compete at the beginning of the Iowa game. I just do not know how that happens. A beatable Big Ten opponent, a nice crowd and no school to worry about this time of year- how does this happen? I would think the team would hold everyone accountable on being ready to play and compete. I know Rodney Hall in the call of the game expressed the same concern, although he did it in a very diplomatic manner. He has been in the huddle before and I think he is flabbergasted by the lack of urgency by the team. Frustrating to say the least- it has been a tough week.03-banghead03-banghead

And who is responsible for "the team was not ready to compete at the beginning of the Iowa game." Frustrating to say the least- it has been a tough five years.

Apparently Monty and crew would rather be on a beach during the holiday week too....

RE: MBB Iowa
Team is needing a player team leader IMO. Someone who is not afraid to productively hold teammates to high standard and accountability. Coming out flat for a game like Iowa just is mind boggling. It happens all to often in recent years. I am not in the locker room and this leadership might already be happening, but from an outsider looking in it just does not feel right that this is a team- rather a bunch of individuals. I hope I am wrong and let's get after it in the MAC.

With Monty as coach and this team, Iowa was not "a beatable Big Ten opponent." While I like Rodney Davis, there's an irony about him calling out a sense of urgency when he lacked that trait academically and was ineligible one season.
