Even if it's true, it's reckless to cast guilt by association when it comes to somebody's parents. No rational person would say that the Phelps defectors from the Westboro Baptist Church should be treated as equally as the active members, nor should we say Trump=KKK just because his father may have been involved.

Also keep in mind that the KKK was a lot different in the twenties than at any time in their history before or since. They were still a collective POS, but it was moreso of a mainstream fraternal organization based on nativist, anti-Catholic, and anti-Jewish ideals (with a strong advocacy of prohibition and patriotic sentiments mixed in) as opposed to the anti-African American violence they're infamous for.

It was an actual newspaper article back in the 1927 that mentioned the names arrested. There are records that shows who was arrested with the freedom of information act, ant reporters could get it. Not as troll post, but a post about the history of DJT's family tree.
