So how are we sitting with a few weeks off to heal up. Do we have any significant injuries heading into the game on Saturday? Are we getting anyone back? Have lost anyone during practice?

We have several fans on concussion protocol - several head injuries identified via discussions on seat selection for the bowl game, early-signing period rankings, and concerns that there might be more Iowa State fans at the pep rally. We can only hope for full recoveries in time to have them tell us who the university should sign as our next basketball coach.

Dorceus is out of course but the big one is Darrell Henderson will be a gametime decision...smh

Memphis RB Darrell Henderson is dressed for warm ups but has his entire right leg taped up. Looks pretty gimpy running. Considering speed is his biggest weapon, that's not a good sign.

To me, this was the key to the game. Not having enough speed to get to the edge and stretch their defense from side to side. That is what our offense is about. They saw early we couldn't do it so they just ignored the threat of the run and the more importantly the threat of the RB catching a pass out of the backfield.

Weird thing is it came out of nowhere for most of the fans and he prob had been hurt for a sec....I think if he plays we win this game but thats the life of a tiger fan.

I didn't notice Jonathan Wilson playing any ... Any word on what happened ? could have used another inside pass rusher

The big Henderson kid transferred to Arkansas St. I think!! His eligibility is up though..

Good grief. We had 3 quality rb's all year + Pollard. With another high-level redshirting. The transfers would not have been playing all year.

Wasn't crazy about not using Pollard more carrying the ball on Saturday, though.
