MAC Football- You Gotta Love It
Four of the five MAC teams in bowl games were routed, including champion Toledo, who looked totally disinterested in losing 34-0 to App State. Only OU did the conference proud, pounding UAB. Pitiful indeed.

Other than golf and maybe some individual sports here and there, this conference really isn't that good in anything. I'm hoping it's cyclical but I'm skeptical. The basketball played in the MAC lately is borderline unwatchable.

RE: MAC Football- You Gotta Love It
The good news, Kentville, is that as bad as Kent State football is right now, it wouldn't take much to rise to the level of those teams that played in a bowl game. It's an awfully low bar to hurdle. I agree about MAC basketball. The quality has declined as a whole the past 10 -12 years. the 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003 (with a healthy Gates) KSU teams were vastly superior to last year's KSU team, the MAC tournament champion.
