Rest assured he will put a positive spin on it, looking forward to next year, donation forms will be going out soon, increase your donations, etc., etc.

I would expect him to support his coaches publicly until or unless he decides to make a change.

I sent him an email last night. Kept it short and to the point but I doubt he will respond.

If anyone sent him an email very recently saying Carey is fantastic and led NIU to great performances the last three games I'll be surprised.

I am just glad I was able to state im supportive of a move to the AAC, without being met with a reply pointing out its widely known such a move would be lateral for NIU.

You guys of course know that Carey isn’t going anywhere, nor should he. There is zero point in firing Carey right now. Zero.

I believe Carey's contract expires June 30, 2019. So if Carey goes I would imagine his contract isn't renewed. And renewing his contract may depend if the anti Carey crowd is putting their money where their mouths are and writing checks to pay for the "top notch" coach they think we should have.

What “top notch” coach are you referring to?

LSU is paying for Canada for two years if NIU decided to go that route.

He’s not going to be here for the 2019 football season. They would have to extend him for that to happen.
