uh, the past ten months? Or have you had your head up your ass?

He wants someone else to use the Google for him.

No, I expect claims to be supported, just like you do of me. Don't be a dick. You know damned well that a claim needs to be supported by your own evidence so if it's from some made up source that we can properly investigate. I don't expect anyone to go trapsing through google in hopes of finding an article to support a claim made by someone else, and neither should anyone else here.

And you guys have had a few hours now and I don't see any evidence...in the time you spent deflecting and obfuscating you could have easily supplied the evidence...if it exists.

And I'll gladly give trump all the credit in the world for any manufacturing jobs he's personally brought back to "the states" (actually we need a definition of that anyway) through policy, as soon as it's provided.

So, show it or shove it. :)

FFS man, no need for the diatribe, just google. This is not rocket science.

I already did. And found nothing tied directly to any policy of trump. While yes, manufacturing is up, there is no real correlation to anything he has done!
Is Trump keeping his promises on manufacturing?

So again, they person making the claim needs to show what he's talking about. And again, he said "back to the states." Is he talking about jobs coming back from foreign countries or just an increase in jobs...and what, if anything, has trump down to bring about said increase.

In fairness to the hawghiggs, he was correct in that manufacturing jobs have reshored to the US in 2017.

My question for a source should have been to ECUGrad07 who claimed "trump is creating manufacturing jobs with benefits."

This article provides a great explanation as to why jobs are being reshored. And it's not due at all to trump other than perhaps in the regulatory realm. But at last check, it was too soon to cite this as a win for trump here as they take time to have an effect:
4 Reasons Manufacturing Jobs Are Returning to the USA

Apologies for the confusion.

I honestly could care less who is responsible for reshoring. Just be glad it is happening. We can not run a vibrant economy on service industries. We have to actually make something. Im sure the old equation is still pretty much valid....For every manufacturing job there are 2 to 3 other jobs supporting it. If we want to talk about "trickle down"..nothing better than manufacturing jobs.

Totally agree. However, I don't think we should let someone take credit for something they had no hand in.

Strictly speaking Susan, "one time" is the same as "all the times". But you and I both know if I spent time digging through your posting history I would find other examples of you dismissing, explaining away, or ignoring the workforce participation numbers.

Why not just admit it and say "I just wanted to troll you all a bit and give you a taste of your own medicine. At least the honesty there would have been respectable.

Quote:Regardless, just because I didn't respond to one question again does in no way proves that I ignored it

Do you know what ignored means tom? "refuse to take notice of or acknowledge; disregard intentionally." You intentionally only quoted the part o fhis post that you wanted to answer, you did not acknowledge the other part of the question.

You ignored it, stop being such a child about it.
