La Tech fans ... Couple Questions
How's that Country Inn and Suites in Ruston? Also what's the view like from the top seats at the Independence Bowl stadium?

Never stayed at Country Inn and the top seats aren't that bad in Indy Stadium but it may get cold as heck up there at times.

I stay there regularly in Ruston. It's fine. My only complaint is I feel like the sheets are too short. Its nice though. Used to be a holiday in express I think.

If you're on the west side get all the way under the press box and you'll stay pretty dry. Being on top row under the press box will help, too, if the wind is from the west.

If you're on east side about all you can hope for the sun will shine brightly and warm you.

I'm one that likes to sit high. My preference is the bottom of the top level at Independence Stadium...in the chairbacks. The top of the top level I probably haven't done since the Shreveport Pirates CFL team. Back then I'd sit one row above the highest chairback for like $10.

I sat way up high and almost to the edge of the stadium for an Alabama-Iowa State game there and it was OK.

Ruston is about 60 miles from the stadium.
