That's certainly your prerogative. But when any VCU fan tells me that ODU won't win a game against them for a lot of years straight, I got a lot to say. Been around both programs too long to accept that falsehood.

You quoted the wrong guy my friend FTL ! I said that and since VCU has won 7 of the last 8, our talk is cheap. VCU now leads series 50-43. This was our year to end the streak I figured . We will be pretty good with a lot of pieces next year but once again, we will have a ton of new players again trying to fit it all together.Maybe playing at home, next season is our year.

Are they on the schedule next year? It's so hard to find info on future basketball games, and the football ones are so easy to find.

My bad on the name quoted. But I still don't buy that we won't beat them over the next five years. You and Rick can both have that nonsense.

Never said we wouldn't ! But it would seem to be put up or shut up time. I just prefer to lay low and let the play on the court do the talking. And lately, against VCU, we don't have much to talk about.

After loosing to Richmond twice this year. The VCU people have been very quiet here this year. You would notice it if you lived in the Richmond area.

Notice everyday. Have A guy at work who refuses to talk about them because they're so bad.

The fact they are so bad this year and we still lost to them makes it sting even worse.

Bah Humbug the loss to William and Mary was much worse. At least we beat Richmond and VCU tried twice and could not do it.

1973 Loss to VaTech by 1 point at Scope (Kiwanis Classic). Tech went on to win the NIT that year - back when the NIT really meant a lot. Heartbreaker! 03-old

A lot of people haven't been following ODU Men's Basketball long enough to have a full understanding of how good several of those D2 Sonny Allen coached ODU teams really were. Guys like Twardzik, Copeland, and Washington would still be outstanding players if they were 20 years old and in college today playing for ODU.

Truer words have never been spoken! Old Dominion basketball has been very very special over the years. Today’s millennials can only wish that things could be as exciting now as what was witnessed during the greatest decade in ODU basketball history...the 1970’s!

Boy, UVA has a 93% foul shooter go to the line with chance to go up three with seconds left and he missed them both. Local kid too, Hall from Cape Henry HS. Basketball is a strange game.

The ACc is really down this year. Not sure if it shows up in top 25 rankings or not but the level of play is way lower than normal. Might just fade league in tourney.

UVA had one job to take care of business and get a #1 ranking. Guess there's too much pressure. I wouldn't invest too much stock in them in March. Elite 8 tops I think.

It is gonna be hard to bracket in the ACC this year during March Madness. It took an ODU team coached by Paul Webb before I attended ODU to beat DePaul in order for UVA to be ranked #!. It was a long time ago but that is how I recall it. January 10th 1981.

The other #1 teams haven't handled the pressure well either. This will be a wide open tournament with no heavy favorites. The "choose by color" method just might win the office pool this year.

Yup blue bloods are not dominant at all. Duke, unc, Kansas, Kentucky, Oklahoma,... All of them can be beat.
