I always wonder when players make accusations years later. While they still can be true, why the delay? (Failed life/career...have to blame someone? Payments for silence stop?)

I can't speak to the motivation of this particular ex- USF player. Bottom line for me is that if what he's saying is true, then he's done us a service by revealing it regardless of his reasons for doing so. I don't believe in covering stuff up, if we've done wrong we need to come clean, take our lumps, take corrective action, and do better going forward.
