Holiday week ends up non-conference play with two very different games.

We always play poorly against the 'Cuse zone, which may (or may not) be because a zone is hard to play against, at least for us. I believe we do better facing man-to-man opponents than a zone.

Syracuse got upset by the Bonnies and won't be overlooking this game.

Could be another bad Syracuse game.

Rochester is our 6th and final OOC home game and is the interlude between a tough game at Syracuse and a tough game at Ball State.

At least no one will be able to say EMU won't be ready for Ball State. Oakland, Syracuse and a breather versus Rochester should have EMU focused on the conference season.

To note, St Bonnaventure out of the A10 is currently ranked 53 vs Syracuse ranking of 42. I will agree Syracuse should not have lost this game at home, but really not a huge upset.

EMU is currently ranked 151, so I would expect them to be outclassed in this one regardless of offensive potential. Hopefully they can keep it close. In any case, should be fun to watch on ‘normal TV’.

Yeah. I look at the data from ESPN and see a good 'Cuse team but not a world beater.

They have not been dominating.
