A far better game than the one we put together against Florida State. During one stretch, MSU only got off 12 shots in 15 minutes.

State came in 10-1, but with a schedule strength rivaling our own. The one loss was by 15 to Cincinnati.

hell, we even came with pressure in the back court on occasion.....

a loss is still a loss.....but after getting shellacked in tomahawk land, it was nice to (hear) we made a few adjustments on D after it rained 3s from both sides to start the game....hell, I think the first 10 shots combined from both teams were from beyond the arc....

it also sounded like Rowe had a bigger presence tonight which we desperately need from the inside

the Doc bashers are winning right now.....if Doc doesn't right the ship after next season, it's fairly safe to say we'll be searching for the next in line that barely gets support for a program in desperate need of funding to be remotely successful.....

It’s like you think we have a bad group of fans who thrive on bashing Doc any chance they get. From what I’ve seen, we have a lot of fans tired of the status quo. Surprisingly, some people actually want to be competitive in round ball.

And it’s as if you don’t realize we do.

Mind you, it’s not just Doc or basketball. Some folks just get off on that sort of thing regardless of the who or what.

By all accounts, we battled our ass off tonight. Really wish we could have finished things off. Beating one of the 2 "big boys" in the state would have been huge for this program.

I expected a trouncing tonight. State just has the magic voodoo going when they play us in anything. Very tough to take.

at my age it's hard to get anything to raise or lift..
