These figures are for the entire AD budget. It says nothing about our allocation of resources to football.

With BW being one of the lowest paid coaches in CUSA, these figures aren't going to have the correlation you're trying to assign to it. Try again.

at least we win big when we outspend. you guys don't do the outspending thing very well.

You dont win big. You have crappy basketball and play minor league football. Its likeGreenbrier Christian bragging about state baseball titles.

How many people attend JMU games? Nice to waste a large stadium

Lol do you really wanna go there? I'll just say more than 20K or whatever the "sell out" number is at foreman field - regular season alone it was 24K and then add an additional 3 home playoff games and we did well in concessions - donor $ goes up when we win games

You guys did under 20 last year.

Nice try. Regular season attendance at JMU has been higher than ODU for years, and this season exceeded 23k. Only when you add in the post-season games does JMU attendance drop into the 19k range.

Say, when is ODU going to have ESPN Game Day on your campus? 07-coffee3

NCAA says 21,724 for 2017. That's what's been reported. No quantifying necessary.

It should correlate. But we all know, for ODU, it doesn't.

Hey look! JMU fans stepped up a level for a few minutes.

Guess winning the little leagues is getting a little boring so it's time to take a flyer bragging to a school you never beat--in hardly anything.

Instead of blaming your consistent losses on a 5'10" QB who led FCS startup walkons (still laughing at that "once-in-a-lifetime" LOL), you should just be more realistic and thank your lucky stars that the real players left the CAA allowing you guys to start winning again.

All we need now is to invite Mount Union to the boards and we'll have all levels present.

So cute.

right. because we didn't win the title in 2004 or make the semis and ranked #1 all year in 2008.

yep. success just came to us because ODU left the building.

i got to say, it's downright hilarious seeing the meltdown on here.

fact is - you guys are miserable in CUSA. it's freakin funny!

Just when I think our fans have some level of delusion, here comes the marching keyboard army of JMU to remind me that I don't know what delusion is. Holy moly. Keep it up guys, you are making your fanbase look really great.

let's be honest here
in the grand scheme, both of our schools are and most likely always will be absolutely irrelevant when it comes to division 1 college football

We need to give JMU credit. They have FCS national championships in Football. They have a highly engaged student body that takes pride in going to JMU. They have had ESPN College Game Days. They have also built and have plans to build the right kind of facilities and momentum for the future. They have a high academic profile. They also have been recognized as one of the TOP-20 Universities in the south. Can we say the same for ODU ?
