Not everybody wants to play for a ranked program.

Everyone knew Banks was headed to UT, no surprise. As for Carvin, I thought we had a chance but I thought it would come down to us or Auburn. Looks like Pruitt is putting in work early.

Don't UTK had the track record with coaches to have much influence with that logic. But there is other valid logic.

Fleming and McBride are two good signings from the DFW area. Both are from major football schools in Class 6A. I think both were probably a little under the radar for the bigger football colleges in the region. Still, excellent players that will fit in nicely at Memphis.

Sorry, but I think that is BS and making excuses.

TN is a national joke, fired their AD and hired their 9th choice as head coach, we hired these guys high school head coach last week, had been recruiting these guys forever, kept our head coach, are ranked in the top 25 - and we still couldn't close the deal.

Very disappointing. No other way to look at it.
