Let me say I'm rooting for FAU to have all the success in the world and I'm rooting for them to win tonight (as I do for any CUSA team when playing OOC/bowl games)....but I can't for the life of me figure out why FAU hasn't packed their stadium their last few games considering everything going on for them (big city, winning, Lane Kiffin, CUSAcg, bowl game in your own house, huge school enrollment...)

This isn't attendance smack. I legitimately don't understand how FAU hasn't sold out their last few games...there's no reason at all why they shouldn't be playing a packed house right now.

They most likely will never have a large fanbase because they started their football program too late and are not a P5 team. Plus they have to put with the current sports media telling people that they're small time and aren't worth following because they are not a P5 school. The same can be said for the majority of the teams in our conference.

I think it's going to take some time to build the loyal base. Years like this one are what help do that.

I do wish they could do better though...

The fans will come around.

Not a bad crowd at all especially compared to CUSA championship

Not a bad crowd for a program that hasn't had a lot of success in the past. I think attendance will grow as success continues.
