We can also go back to our old standby from the '80s: toilet paper. There is no ban on TP so bring some. Also, if the streamers are thrown from waist level, they won't know who tossed them. The streamers will go up in the air and look great. It seems silly that the NCAA decided to ban these for the national championship. I agree that we should not be throwing them on the field or at players on the field. If we are getting picky about dumb things, then let's make sure we ban:

4.Anyone that is wearing yellow or green shirts could be visually distracting for the players or referees on the field. Any person in the stands with those colors should be removed.
5. Their mascot looks too much like a real bison. It would be offensive to bison, for not all bison cheer for NDSU.
6. What material is their mascot uniform made of? If there is any fur of any kind or something that could be mistaken for fur and would be offensive. Therefore their mascot shouldn't be allowed into the stadium.
7. Banning of any accent that has Scandinavian origins. It is offensive to Texans and 'Merica therefore shall not be allowed to speak or make noise of any kind. If violated, they should be removed.
8. Use of the phrase "You betcha".

the problem is not being caught by event staff. it’s being ratted out by salty NDSU fans TO the event staff. think they won’t do it? think again. if we’re throwing streamers, things are not going well for them. someone is going to get ratted out, probably more than one person. if you’re in the middle of JMU’s section, you’re fine. if you’re near the edge or in a mixed section, you run the risk of being tattled on. f***ing pathetic. we’ll see if they’re the blue collar team/fanbase they say they are, or if they’re a bunch of whiny crybabies who can’t deal with flying paper. we’ll find out when we see how many rats they have.

The wording is probably there to give them leeway to eject someone if a streamer is used in an inappropriately drunk-ass fashion...like thrown directly at the sidelines or other people.

Just don't be stupid.

Oh I guarantee you there will be whiny ndsu fans crying to event staff like someone’s holding a gun in their section. As you said, if streamers are flying, they’re already upset at their team’s performance and looking to try and assert what kind of power they can in the situation.
