I like Lester's aggressiveness. Someone needs to look like they can be aggressive with the ball

The announcers said that in talking with Pera that Scott was pleased how good Osborne has played and contrasted that with his disappointment in the Sophmores. I think that is spot on.

Agreed. I really expected Adams to take a big step this year and it hasn't happened. Harrison was also a good recruit and really hasn't produced at all

43-38 New Mexico...takeaways:

-Doubt we'll scrap the zone for the second, but a good offensive team would've put up 60 on us that half.
-New Mexico might be the worst pressing/trapping team I've ever seen
-6 TOs a half will keep us in games

Good half overall. Played smart and if we had hit some of the open 3’s we could be leading. Now let’s see if we can play well for 40 minutes not just 20.

Owls tied it at 36 with just under 5 minutes to play. 2 Malik FTs is all the Owls get the rest of the way.

Adams is not a 2 guard and it's unfair to ask him to play that position but I understand why we're doing it. He's a decent point guard and would be much better if he had better scorers around him (which may be the case next year).

I'm not sure what's wrong with Harrison, Meyer (and Martin). I still think Harrison could turn out okay if they gave him a chance. Has he ever had more than 20 minutes in a game?

Apparently 3 seconds takes longer to occur when the Lobos Have the ball in the paint.

Down 44 - 54. We're 3-19 from downtown; 0-14 outside of Lester (3-5).

Most frustrating game of the season for me by far. No reason we shouldn't be tied or leading. Anemic scoring (with really good looks), zone has been terrible.

Shooting 3 - 14 this half. That's never going to get it done.

I mean, they're running the absolute simplest sets on offense and we have absolutely no clue what we're doing. Pick & roll and we lose the roller, then they run a guy to the wing and nobody identifies it and Tim can't get through the screen. Ridiculous defensive effort tonight.

71-63 New Mexico 3:33 left. Guys are giving it their all. Couple inopportune UNM offensive rebounds, bad shot choices, defensive breakdowns.
