It was a Southern Miss fan who created this thread, so I was speaking to CUSA as a whole.

We have some of the most arrogant fans. Yea we've had success and just a few years ago we went 0pher and took a couple seasons to rebuild. But we're not the team we once were. We're still building to that.

However, fans from other schools that just got relevant this season can't really look down from their noses just yet. Some are a bad hire away of returning to where they were.

Oh, I agree. My post was just in response to there being no need to create this thread. We should support each other as conference mates. I can only speak for myself, but I hope all CUSA teams playing in bowls this season do well; and those that didn't get a chance this year have the opportunity to do so next. The conference will only get better if we all can work together.

No one is looking down thier noses at USM. To be honest we are fed up with negativity and arrogance of USM fans.

Here's a thought. The reason we do not look so hot as a conference is because C-USA has not been a stable conference. It has always been in the state of flux - C-USA 1.0 --> C-USA 2.0 --> C-USA 3.0. We can't really say that the C-USA 3.0's problem had been all of us who came from the SunBelt. Clearly, look at who's coming to the fore: UNT, FAU, FIU. And look who had been at the top last couple of seasons? MTSU and WKU among them. All - new kids on the block. We're going to be ok as a conference, we just need to continue this stability we are finally feeling. It's only been 4 years since the last team move in or out of the conference.

Please direct that anger to specific (USM) fans, and not the fanbase as a whole. FTR, I am proud of all of the teams in this current makeup and hope we collectively have a long and prosperous relationship together. We all have work to do....

But I do understand your disgust and I do hate that some USM fans are coming off as too brash and uppity. Again, it is not all of us.

Haven't had a chance to see the replay of the WKU - Ga. State game. What's going on with the Hill toppers?

Our Conference's remaining bowl matchups are against MAC teams, if I recall right, with one exception, Southern Miss. They drew the long straw and got Florida State. Hoping the Golden Eagles can go into "Nasty Bunch Mode" for this one.

1-2 against the Sun Belt. 1-0 against the Mountain West. 2-2 so far.

Ya, pay backs are hell. USM's is coming. I wish I could say that Ellis Johnson was a UNT grad just to pay you guys back for the USM product in the picture.

Nice work planting him in the UNT athletic department with the instructions to slowly destroy the UNT program from the inside. It worked for over a decade.
