With 10:26 to go in the game, three of our starters were sitting with four fouls. That one ref called the vast majority of those twelve fouls. And we were down eleven. What was impressive was our comback started without those players, and was made without them. That come back included three freshmen.
Any reason why this has not been talked about?

That could also be a result of McGrath giving the freshmen big minutes early. If they didn’t have that experience to play the game calmly and in control that comeback wouldn’t have happened. Another good reason to trust the plan. I don’t have to know the plan or like the initial results of it to trust it and give it time to develop.

The comeback was good. Was nice to see them show a little fight. Offense looked pretty good, defense still gave up 90+

I actually did mention the comeback with starters on the bench and the crowd getting into it. But, I thought it came about because we have become to reliant on going into the post instead of guards making plays. Cacok and Bryan on the bench forced the guards to play, and they responded.

I do know that Taylor started off slow, but became a man possessed midway thru the second half. He suddenly became fearless and they couldn't stop him. And Gary looked very sure of himself.
Something that hurt was Cacok letting his anger get in the way. Cost him two quick fouls.
