BTN
First allow me to set the stage and record straight. I am an NIU fan first, foremost and forever since stepping on campus 1962.

The only times I root for a BT team is when it is of any benefit to NIU or BT beats a team I dislike like ND.

However I do enjoy watching certain shows featured on BTN and I filter out all the songs of greatness and praise for BT.

Just watched episode today about how Hayden Fry came from N Texas to resurrect an Iowa team burdened with 19 consecutive losing seasons only to get the Hawkeyes to Rose Bowl twice. While losing both games with QB Chuck Long - WNHS/Ryan Graham - the story was a parallel in microcosm to Joe Novak.

Sure would be great if MAC could at very least offer fans a once a week/month episode on any channel or online link featuring great MAC teams and coaches.

Another feature I enjoy on BTN is visits made to local restaurants/pubs near Lucas in Indy and BT college towns especially should NIU play there .
