AAC has a good number of 4-Star/fringe 4-star prospects in the 247 composite rankings this year after only having 1 last year and not many top 150 guys.

Erik Stevenson-WSU- High 3-Star (152)

Logan Johnson- Cincy- 3-Star (183), but is 4-Star and (131) in 247 Sports Rankings.

Not sure how good he’ll end up being, although he’s gotten much stronger, but our PF/C commit is the brother of Nova’s Omari Spellman, so the bloodline is there.

Wichita's Stevenson (152) and UCONN's Matthews (153) are AAU teammates in the Pacific Northwest. Interesting story-line for next season.

Just finished watching Alex Lomax's high school team play on ESPN2. That kid is going to be fun to watch at WSU. His skillset is very similar to Fred VanVleet.

I wonder if Shamet is the highest ranked recruit currently playing in the conference

Wichita State’s incoming class would finish top half in the AAC. This year.

And those guys are on some pretty damn good teams that play some damn good competition. Lomax is obviously at Memphis East which is the #1 team in the country. Morris Udeze is currently playing for #2 Montverde Academy and Isaiah Poor Bear Chandler, as well as Chance Moore, are playing for #6 Sunrise Christian Academy.

I love our class. And I swear at one time, one of the recruiting services had Udeze as a 4*. Don't remember which one though.
