Dim the lights first. Maybe light a candle or two... full screen of course.
Wichita State's getting some of the biggest, most athletic and aggressive forwards/centers they've ever signed (since the 80's). Recruiting ratings be damned.

SMU will look to add one more to its class of Feron Hunt, Jahmar Young and Isiaha Mike (Transfer)
Is he a legit 6'8 PF? He dribbles like a guard. They say he started playing ball at age 15. If all this is true, he's a serious talent who may have yet to reach his ceiling. Congrats!

Under recruited out of Toronto. He’s a legit 6’8” but more of a SF. Similar game to McDuffie. And IMO, the biggest recruiting score for SMU since Shake.

Yeah he is a legit 6’8. Seen him in a few practices and he is gonna be a player. Has some just wow dunks and a nice stroke (just need to keep making his jumper more consistent from deep). Has Wing skills, but will likely play the 4 for us like Semi and Foster did/do. We hit the jackpot stealing/keeping him away from Oregon.

I saw half of that Memphis East team play last night and WOW they are stacked. Wiseman is 100% a UK or Duke kid and future top 5 draft pick. Dandridge looked good too. Wasn't as impressed with Chandler Lawson with everything i've heard about him, he is good, but didn't stand out. Lomax is a real athletic PG and seems to be a good distributor/energy guy. Didn't see him shoot much. Also, thought Boyce was solid. Shocked UAB landed him.

None of those kids are going to Memphis....even with Penny coaching the team. That's how bad Tubby is at recruiting.
Chance Moore appears to be another Shocker recruiting steal. He is a 3* Top 200 shooting guard/small forward recruit who grew this summer from 6'4" to 6'9". He appears to have a high ceiling and scored 42 points in the last game he played in at Sunrise Academy.

Another 6'9 player? Jesus what's our team's average height next year? Anybody wanna run the numbers? Talk about an airport team...
Gregg Marshall's biggest complaint when he began his career at Wichita was the lack of players on the roster which required that he look up. I believe that problem has been rectified.

Sounds kind of like our 4-Star commit Feron Hunt. He was 6'5 and grew to 6'8. He blew up this summer on the circuit and moved up to a 4-star. Freakish Athlete.
I like the Shockers class. Udeze and Lomax look like top flight prospects. Marshall has a rep for taking quality 3-stars and making them into real good players.
I never read to much into kids scoring big points in HS games. AAU is a little more impressive because of the competition, but these HS and prep schools guys just rack up points, because they are the best guy or one of 2 best guys on the team and take 20+ shot a game. We had a guy who came in averaging 27PPG 8APG and 8RPG in HS the year before and he had to transfer, because he wasn't high D1 material. He played low level AAU and didn't score a ton.

I get what you're saying, but he's also playing for the #6 school in the nation at Sunrise and is playing with a handful of other D1 talent. Including future Shocker big man, and 4*, Isaiah Poor Bear Chandler.
Sunrise has put a number of guys in D1. Most famously is Buddy Hield. But we've had a few on our roster including current Seniors, Rauno Nurger and Zach Brown as well as Sophomore CJ Keyser.

As it stands now:
Asbjorn Midtgaard 7'0"
Jaime Echenique 6'10"
Isaiah Poor Boy Chandler 6'9"
Chance Moore 6'9"
McDuffie 6'8"
Morris Udeze 6'8"
Roderick Brown 6'6"
Austin Reaves 6'5"
Landry Shamet 6'4"
Erik Stevenson 6'4"
C J Keyser 6'3"
Samajae Haynes-Jones 6'
Alex Lomax 5'11"
Just a shade under 6'6" on average. Heights were taken from Verbal Commits.
