Moore still won't concede?
Although Democrat Doug Jones was named the shock winner of Alabama’s Senate special election on Tuesday, Moore refuses to admit that the campaign has ended.

“I want to thank all of you who have stood with me in this very important battle for the future of our country,” the 70-year-old former judge, who was plagued by allegations of sexual misconduct, said in a video to supporters on Wednesday night. “We are indeed in a struggle to preserve our republic, our civilization and our religion and to set free a suffering humanity. And the battle rages on.”

“In this race, we have not received the final count to include military and provisional ballots. This has been a very close race and we are awaiting certification by the secretary of state,” Moore continued.

RE: Moore still won't concede?
Roy Moore is still relevant until he concedes. Its actually news.

I think it might be a good idea to keep your comments on the actual thread, rather than simply insulting Fit for posting it. Geez guys, can you ever make it about the topics and not the other posters?

Why not simply say "old news' and move on. It isn't old news IMHO, but that would be a more appropriate way to address your concerns, if they're really about Roy Moore refusing to concede and not an attempt to hit back at Fit for bring it up
----

I'll actually throw my $0.02 in the ring on this one.

Of course Roy Moore won't concede (and if he does, it won't likely be graciously). He's delusional and many of his supporters don't believe news that contradicts their message is real (aka its all fake news). Roy has a charity to fund (so he can loot it). He's got a reputation to attempt to resurrect so he can run for Alabama Governor or the Senate in 2020. He still thinks he can talk his way out of this one. He genuinely appears to the think that God will decide this race, and decide it in his favor. Or he will play the victim so he, a massive advocate of persecution of others, can try to claim that he's somehow the 'victim' in all of this.

I think Jones' highlighting Moore's unwillingness to concede is a good move on his part. It simply reinforces the decision of the of reachable independents and moderate Republicans that voted for him.

It doesn't change anything. There is no requirement to concede. Al Gore never conceded and GWB was still president for 8 years. Life goes on.

That’s because we all know the only way Trump “won” was with the help of Russia.

There isn't a requirement to concede. But it looks better if you do.

Al Gore most certainly did concede and as a US Senator, when the Electoral College votes were counted, personally objected when House Members attempted to stop the vote count he knew he would lose.

Hillary most certainly conceded to Donald Trump. But conceding does not mean pointing out that Trump's victory was not a popular one, and doesn't mean that investigations into foreign interference shouldn't be investigated.

Basically, Moore is acting like an ass and Jones is making him look like even more of an idiot for acting like he does. Its usually good politics for a Senator elect who won with only 49.9 percent of the vote in a state dominated by the opposing party to look for ways to make himself look more palatable. Jones will run against Moore for the next three years, if Moore will let him.

Gore didn't concede until the Supreme Court shut down his effort to steal the election. You are just really whiffing today.

LOL. So that's why the Trumpers are trying to stop the Muller investigation.

BTW, it wasn't just Russia. It was also a gerrymandered EV that disenfranchises Democrats.

Moore is acting like an ass. We agree. The margin was too large for computer errors or fraud to account for.

Al Gore conceded, then reneged and never conceded again (I don't blame him for reneging and letting the first recount play out). He still uses that "former next POTUS" line in his introductions. He was the king of sore losers and if Moore doesn't concede when the provisional and absentee ballots are counted... and there aren't enough od them to make a difference... he will be right up there with Gore.

Either way, life goes on with or without the concession.

I never said Hillary didn't concede.

Anytime you end up with the 'winner' getting 3 million fewer votes than the 'loser', there's a problem.

And its happened in two of the last 3 Republican Presidential wins.

How do you gerrymander the EV? You can gerrymander congressional districts within a state, but no matter how you draw the lines, the state will still have the same number of EVs. Maine and Nebraska are the only 2 states that award per district and Trump got 1 additional EV in Maine due to that. You sound silly.

Every state has 2 senators. It is in the constitution. That isn't gerrymandering.
