But Temple does have a great non-con SOS. If they pick up the next 2, they will really be in pretty good shape.

I don't think that's necessarily true. Cincinnati made the tournament in C-USA with 17 wins. The deck is stacked against us, but I do think that teams with a consistent track record of making the tournament can get the benefit of the doubt, even outside the cartel.

I agree with this. Cincinnati, Temple, UConn, and Memphis are always going to be given more benefit of the doubt than some other aac teams without that long-term success, fair or unfair.

It is shaping up like a 4 bid league. Temple's SOS really helps them.

Lunardi also has Houston in his first 4 out, so 5 bids in the realm of possibility. AAC teams need to finish the non-con strong.

Yeah. The Houston/Providence and really SMU/Boise games are huge(not really for SMU, but to hurt Boise's resume).

And I'll say this, if UCF can get 11 or 12 conference wins, they're not out of it yet at all. 12 wins would get them to 21-9 and a RPI of 41.5. That probably gets them in. 11 would get them to 20-10 and RPI of 51.

As much as I would like to see Temple make the tournament, I don't think it will happen. What I saw last night was a team that completely gave up. They stopped caring/trying and to me that shows a team that wilts under pressure. I hope the team rallies from last night but I have never seen a more shell shocked and aimlessly drifting team after a game.

Drexel may pop them in the mouth Saturday and Temple decides they are done for the season...

Not giving up on them just yet. The game was over in the first 5 minutes. Villanova was capable of erasing any run by Temple. They let the air out of the building and Temple's players had no chance. I do think Dunphy had them so ill-prepared and game planned so poorly that I have to question his judgment. The commentator (Dakich) talked a lot about what temple should be doing but weren't. It was really commentary on the coaching.

In any case there is a lot of season to play to build the resume back up. We are sniffing the tournament. Not a lock by anybody's standard.
