KenPom gives us only an 18% chance of winning the Boise State game and estimates we will lose by 10 points. Perhaps I am an optimist but I'd place our odds more at 30-35%. Our defense has been solid so if our shooting touch shows up I believe we have a chance at an upset. Fingers crossed.

For what it’s worth the line has moved from -12 to -10 today.. anyway I hope the Lopes can handle playing in front of a near empty arena with a mild crowd. Boise hoops atmosphere sucks.

36-30 at the half.... you can hear a sea of BOOOs out there right now. Announcers say this is the most vocal the crowd has been all year at BSU. This sounds like the only close game they've been given other than a tough exhibition contest against College of Idaho at the start of the season. I'm proud of GCU for hanging tough, especially during that sloppy second part of the first half. Fouls are piling up... good thing Canyon has a deep bench.

Oscar a rebounding machine. Big shot for Benson. Good first half. Need to come out strong in the 2nd. Can't have that halftime lull.

They had a 10 point lead and had it cut to 1 there for a while... if the fouling continues, and Boise keeps making their free throws, this game could be lost at the line. Hopefully they'll make some adjustments in the locker room and the guys can reign in the fouls. They're calling ticky tacky stuff tonight... GCU has been on the good end of a couple of bad calls, thanks to some great acting by Vernon and Benson. Not complaining, mind you! *double Lopes up*
