Ayers to retire from Wofford
News out of Spartanburg is that Mike Ayers will retire from Wofford today. I played for him in 86 and 87. He will retire as the winningest coach in SoCon history with 215 victories at Wofford and for the Bucs. Wow. Hard to believe he’s been there 30 years.

Well wishes to him! He is currently 69 and will be 70 years old before the beginning of next season.
