Great article by ignorant Seth. He just copied and pasted a bunch of posts from this board and wrote that Memphis section. Seth called our team a FF team before season started. Pitino developed players for Tubby at UK? This is the 1st time anyone mentioned that. Pitino lost to Arizona a year earlier with a loaded roster. All these players he left were his bench players. My goodness, when a man is down, he keeps getting punches from all directions.

A few years ago I would have been upset at a slight like that. Now I just nod my head in agreement, pretty sad.

That being said so far Tubby has exceeded my expectations this year. I was expecting 5-4 at best for now but 7-2.

Yes, I thought we would lose at least 2 of Mercer, Albany and Northern Kentucky. All 3 are decent teams. Mercer is worse than I thought that they would be though.

Couldn't agree more. SPOT ON. Guess Seth Davis is a Miserable too. Or maybe he's part of some nation wide conspiracy against MEMPHIS and Tubby.

He’s getting paid $3 million a year. He’s choosing not to listen to help and keeping his son on staff. He’s literally making this as hard as he possibly can.

I just can't understand WHY anyone would really think Memphis, despite the perceived/real talent level, would lose home games to those teams.

NKU lost by 30 last year to WVU and was 3rd in the Horizon last year.

Mercer was 15-17 last year, finished 7th in the SoCo last year and lost by 24 to UTk the game prior to Memphis.

Albany finished 3rd/4th in the America East last year and was drilled by a few OOC teams last year.

Yep, these teams are horrible. I know NKU went to the NCAA last season, but not because they were a good team. It was a fluke.
