You need to calm down, Mr. Belligerent JMU Fan. Watch it.

Well, it's interesting that the yellow-jacketed ticket folks have been pretty much absent, for some reason, during the playoffs. They've actually been pretty strict, at least in the sense of checking tickets, through the rest of the year.

I had also noticed that during the SBU and WSU games. No one was checking tickets or anything, actually did not seem to be as many yellow jacketed people around at all. The few I saw were on the concourse trying to stay warm!!

I've been in 210 for years and they usually check seats, but only up to halftime it seems. They haven't been doing it in the playoffs at all.

ParentofJMUMRDs, are you 210 row E? Your experiences always seem to mirror mine.

Fridays are hard for RMC to find help since most of them have day jobs and are many are bused in from Richmond. They also need to cover a lot of basketball games this time of the year. I don't have a problem with less section ushers but they need to do a much better job staffing the gates. There's no reason to have those long lines when the event is half the capacity of the regular season games.

I have no problem raising the issue with folks as I sit close to 109 and know they are a rowdy bunch that just don't realize some things as over the line. Cent, I definitely appreciate you guys being courteous to myself and the old man.

No problem! Hope your father had a good time. What an unreal game.

Truth be told, we had tickets in 109, but they were all over the place and we wanted to sit together, so we just scooted over to 108.

Our normal seats are 209 but requested an upgraded and was assigned 109! Since that section was filled and others in our seats, assuming with people that didn't belong there, we sat in 108. There was almost no one there at kickoff but filled to about 50% by the end of the first.

Being the only time being up close and personal with the 109 folks; Their reputation is mostly legend in my opinion. They stand and cheer loudly the first half, encourage players and say stupid stuff to officials but most became pretty average in the third when their buzz wears off about half time. I was surprised they weren't more enthusiastic to toward the non-game activities, Dukettes, MRD's the squirrel. Some letting their kids run up and down the stairs the whole game was pretty annoying.

It's strange to me why 108 was so empty. A little low for my taste but generally great seats and great fans in 109.
