RE: How do UCF fans feel about Scott Frost coaching the Peach?
They are caught in a bad situation. He is taking the entire assistant coaching staff so you don’t have staff to prepare for bowl.
I know UCF fans love him and he did great there but what he is doing to UCF by taking their entire staff plus going after their top recruits stinks to high heaven.

RE: How do UCF fans feel about Scott Frost coaching the Peach?
Aside from the new staff just letting McKenzie Milton run the offense on his own and Jasinski / Griffin doing the same on defense, it's the only thing to do. The new coaches don't speak the players' language/terminology for formation/plays/reads/audibled. What could you possibly expect them to accomplish in 3 weeks?

We like him but he’s doing/done a lot of bs. Offering our commits, taking all of the UCF staff including Ucf alumni, a secret meeting the night before a game in Philadelphia, and etc.
However, I do believe he’s the best one to prepare and focus the team for the peach bowl.

Completely unrealistic to expect Huepel and a new staff to adequately prepare the team with the current playbook, and equally unrealistic to expect the players to learn new plays and schemes in 3 weeks. It would be a disaster. Even Heupel has said "it would be very tough" when asked about this possibility.
We literally have zero other options here. Frost didn't just take the coaches with him, but most of the support staff as well. If they don't return to prepare this team, there is literally no one here to do it.

What a ****** situation. Do UCF fans have much hope for a W? I would think any team would lose in this situation. Maybe, as many have said, Auburn doesn't really care about this game... I don't understand why they wouldn't though

RE: How do UCF fans feel about Scott Frost coaching the Peach?
Winning this game would be great but it'll be tough. We have a coaching staff with 8 toes out the door supposedly "preparing" the team for Auburn.
Either way, it doesn't take away from the fact that 2018 could be just as special or better than this year. We lose only a key few players (Shaq, a few OLinemen) and basically the entire offense returns. Heupel has an absolute beast of a team to go into 2018 with.
And unless the CFB world again royally screws UCF, we SHOULD start preseason in the Top 15, at least.

He's just doing his (new) job. Taking staff and recruits is what he's being paid by Nebraska to do.
Heck, I hope USF recruiters have been taking advantage of this uncertainty at UCF for a couple months now.

In these P5/G5 games, the G5 team has a natural motivational advantage, as typically they believe they are underrated by the power structure, have a chip on their shoulder, something to prove and all that. It's their Big Chance to prove themselves on a Big Stage. UCF fits that profile to a "T".
The P5 team is usually very disappointed to be playing the G5, as it is a no-win situation, and far less prestigious than playing a blue-blood P5, which is what they had been hoping for.
For Auburn, it's doubly-worse, because of the bitter pills they had to swallow to get here. Just two weeks ago they were #2, had beaten their historical rivals Georgia and Alabama soundly, and were poised to win an SEC title and go to the playoffs. But, they lost the SEC title game and then had two doses of salt rubbed in by seeing their two rivals, the two teams they just beat, go to the playoffs instead of them.
Their motivation for the Peach Bowl is through the floor.

Correct. Heupel is also probably trying to pry recruits away from Missouri. That's how this works.

If I were in their shoes I think it would depend on how the players would react. Some of them might have fun with the whole concept of "okay coach, let's do this one more time and make it count" while others I'm sure are more of the opinion of "**** off coach, I'm not putting my heart into someone who's left us".

The 'tears' are from angsty UCF fans who can't get over Frost leaving.
Last year, Taggart dumped USF and I don't recall Bulls fans whining and wimpering about staff and recruiting and bowl preparation. We just hired a new coach, carried on with recruiting, and won our bowl game to boot.

The difference was you were playing In a minor bowl which didn't matter.

When ECU won the Peach in '92 and finished AP #9, at least our coach didn't get poached until after the bowl. My personal feeling would be to say get out, I've moved on and found someone else. But, best chance of winning is probably with Frost. Tough call.
I see that ESPN is giving UCF a 28.1% chance to win. Tell Snelson it's okay to "score 70" now. I hope UCF creams Auburn and finishes top 10. Top 5 would also be nice.
Go Knights!
He isn’t taking just 7 assistants. He’s literally taking every single person on the entire coaching staff...
All 10 coaches and everyone in the football operations office.

With the coaching situation, UCF is going to get curb stomped and folks are going to incorrectly use it against the AAC and non-P5's.

Frost is going to coach the game. So if we get curb stomped it wasn't because of the coaches. I fully believe everyone will give 100%. No idea what that means for the score though

It still is tough on the players. Playing for a coach with one foot out the door. In addition, with the early signing period there is no way the staff is going to be 100% committed to game planing for Auburn. Not trying to make excuses but I just think it it plays a big factor.
