Not going to anymore mens games.

Timeouts make our team play worse. No T's for bad officiating. No emphasis on D. Just a poor excuse for basketball.

Im done. Just done. Not an overreaction. I give these players my time every season and usually come up with the same conclusion. Bad. Just bad.

You beat me to it. All comes back to coaching when the same thing happens every single year.

That's not the word I would have chosen for the thread but, I agree, coaching is the problem.

I have noticed over the last few seasons that K will instruct his team to start bleeding the clock at about the 5 minute mark with a lead. In doing so, they get out of their rhythm/aggressive mode and end up losing a game that should have been in the bag. Sadly, nothing will change anytime soon...

Our mens bball coach sucks. We lose with superior talent year in and year out. Not winning the MAC with juice and Pearson should have been sign 1.

I will be the there cheering them on the rest of the season. If you want to give up on them, that's your choice.

My issue isn’t with the players. It’s with the coach and how he sets them up for failure way too many times.

Not personable +
Bad at coaching in close game situations + only preaching offense +
No use of bench =
No me at games

If we win a MAC west title. Ive been proven wrong. If we go .500 to the tune of a 7 seed??? Bring back Joplin.

Let me know when its January then I'll start giving a ****.

Nothing else to say, but that was an embarassing loss.

Perfect description of what happened tonight. At about the 5 or 6 minute mark the team's sole objective on offense suddenly became running the full 30 seconds off the shot clock with Sanford dribbling around aimlessly close to mid-court until the shot clock ran down to somewhere around 5-8 seconds, then panic and either turn it over, throw up an impossible shot or have the clock expire. It unfairly made Sanford look like the goat for the loss when in fact he was just following the script written, directed and produced by Coach K. I don't why they even bothered calling time outs down the stretch because they never changed their strategy until Marshall took the lead and by then they were totally out of their offense and in total panic mode and it became a total rout---another 5 minutes like that last minute and Marshall would have won by 20 points. Oh well, it is the season for giving, so Merry Christmas to the Herd and hope you enjoy your gift.

However, unfortunately by giving away this game the way they did, it negated
otherwise memorable offensive performances by Fletcher and Knapke---what a waste.

Wasn't gonna get on the board tonight. But here i am. I wanted him gone after last year, still do. That last 5 minutes was pitiful. How's do you start nursing the clock so early. And upn2 with a minute and a half left and you sit on the ball. MAC title this year or send Coach K to the Citgo
