EMU's NFL Prospects
I'm starting this thread for Roback (and others) who have a shot at the next level, "Playing on Sunday."

RE: EMU's NFL Prospects
Only lists him as 6' 2.2, 210 Our roster shows 6'3, 218

"The offense also relies heavily on the screen pass and he is quick to go to his check down."

Apparently this scout didn't bother to actually watch many EMU games this year. Very few screens, or check downs.

The rest pretty accurate. He has the arm, like it says.......'just need simple fundamentals and mechanics cleaned up with the proper coaching at the next level.' Should be able to really help himself in the NFLPA Bowl, and private workouts. Mike Martz is one of the coaches, so if Brogan can impress him, that should give him a huge boost and create some buzz.

Good luck Brogan!

Not sure we have anybody else with an NFL future. Bailey and Beck were really good EMU players, but not sure they have NFL athleticism? Pro day workouts will tell the tale. If one of them puts up NFL numbers, they could get a free agent shot.

Any of our senior defensive linemen have a shot?

I guess Granger would be the only one with an NFL body, but that's a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOng shot. Doubt he tests well.

DI program with only 1 player to have any shot at all to be looked at and let's face it, Roback realistically has no chance to even make it to August? Wow, that is not good.

Roback will get to a camp and depending on the team he signs with he might stick. If he goes undrafted (which is probably a thing) he can sign with a team that is a better fit. He'll make it past August if he stays healthy. I think Beck and Bailey end up in camps. Beck especially was super productive for four years. Those guys get camp invites.

Let's not forget this is the last year of Ron English recruits. Creighton didn't exactly get a full cupboard.

The big question is how is his recovery coming along?

I think that you will likely see a lot of mini camp tryouts and UDFA’s. Roback may get drafted but a lot of QBs go undrafted.

Good for him, he earned it. Neathery really helped his chances by moving him to LB which was a much better fit.

Yes, he got some snaps in the 4th qtr. Tampa injuries, plus Falcons wearing their D down by pounding the ball on the ground, forced Tampa deep into the depth chart in the second half. Didn't see any tackles, but I was kinda watching on and off, so not sure if he made the stat sheet.

He was playing left DE in a 4 man front.
