And yet, the Vols fans that I have talked to act like he is exactly who they were after the whole time and the best coach since Lombardi.

I went to a party in Florida and some obnoxious person there asked me where I went to school. I said Memphis. So, asked him where he went to school. He said UT. I said, Oh, Universiity of Texas, my son in law played football there. No...he said...Tennessee. I just said Oh. If you want to get under their skin, mention Texas instead of Tennessee. Works for me. Or you could say "Austin is a great city...how did you like living there?'

A lot of coaches out side the world of coaching are not what you would term “worldly”. That statement does not surprise me at all. I have friends that coach and I kid them a lot about not knowing very much other than blocking techniques.
