EMU beat Oakland tonight. We don't look like the best team in the West right now.

We don't play them this year but we've seen a lot of Loyola Chicago in the past. They're giving #5 Florida all they can handle right now. Ramblers up 55-50 under 7 to play.

Well you apparently didn’t watch the game so you don’t get a seat at the table. If you had watched you would be worried for how this team is going to match up with teams in the MAC.

Just a sloppy night agains a MUCH inferior opponent at home... or rather what we would have initially thought to be an inferior opponent.

I see this team being Jekyl and Hyde all season... when they drop the deep balls they will be in games... when they don’t things will get interesting...

Cleveland St isn't that bad. They led Akron but lost in last minutes, led E Carolina blew that one. The Horizon is better balanced than the MAC. Oakland sunk over half their 3s against the Broncos, at EMU 2/3s were off mark. EMU zone got them.

I really implore you to watch the replay of that game on ESPN3... There are some really bright spots on this team but we seem to fall asleep at the wheel during the game. We also really struggle in the paint on the offensive side of the ball... These guys play some tenacious defense... on ball D has not been the problem... its the turnovers and stretches of anemic shooting that has me worried... I am not trying to be argumentative... just want to start some dialog about what we are SEEING during these games...

It was interesting listening to the commentary from Austin Richie who was running color for ESPN3 during the game... I think this team will come together eventually but right now they just seem a little off... You can see where guys are coming open for flashes under the bucket but the passing lane seems to close quicker than its recognized at this point... We really do miss Dugan under the bucket...

oh good we won. I checked the box score last night on google and it had us losing by like 18 with about 10 minutes left. It said we'd only scored 3 points in the half at that time.... anyway, pleasantly surprised after coming here to read the reaction to see that we won!

Stat sheet looks like Oakland could not hand EMU inside game. Minnie & Thompson shot combined 18-21, 24 rbs, 6 blocks. 24 points each.
