Taxes are too progressive IMHO. There are not enough people with actual skin in the game - financially - regarding the federal income tax. If more people actually paid income tax, I believe more people would care a lot more about how it is spent.

I get why politicians have to lie and say it's going to be great for the middle class but I will never understand why regular middle class people have to do it too.
